My name is Marnee Richardson and I am currently a sophomore from Austin, Texas, and my journey with horses has been an incredible part of my life for over a decade. I've developed a deep passion for riding, not just for the sport itself, but for the horses, the community, and the people involved.

I am currently competing in the 3'6" equitation and have already qualified for the 2024 Dover Hunt Seat Medal Finals, Maclay Regionals, Jump Seat Medal Finals, and Hunt Seat Medal Finals. I train with Brannon Mooney at Cappall Glen Farm as well as Kalli Smith at Monarch Stables where I have qualified for numerous final championships such as NHS Hamel Medal Finals and NCEA East Coast Medal Finals where I finished 7th overall. Some of my other accomplishments include Zone 7 Finals Reserve Champion in the age group equitation, 4th in the Hamel Area Championships, and finishing 4th in the Zone out of 50+ competitors in the age group equitation.

Academically, I attend St. Andrew's Episcopal School, maintaining a GPA of 3.70 (unweighted). Most recently, I received the Magna Cum Laude Award for Area Latin Pentathlon and was the highest scorer for the Area Decathlon for St. Andrews where I was one of two sophomores testing with the senior class. Beyond the classroom, I am a member of National Charity League, as well as a Blue Key Ambassador where I represent my school to prospective students. Additionally, I am an athletics steward where I help organize athletic events and execute tasks to help spots be game day ready. I am part of multiple clubs including, Latin Club, Empowering Women of the World, Best Buddies, and Cards for Comfort.

Looking ahead, I'm excited about the possibilities and challenges that college riding teams may bring. I'm eager to learn, grow, and continue pursuing my passion for horses, hoping to contribute my skills to the broader equestrian community.
